I must admit that I'm quite a sucker for self-help books. That explains why I normally subscribe to reading magazines rather than novels cos' the former has those special sections with titles such as '10 ways to spice up your life' blah blah. However, to spruce my otherwise mundane stack of local magazine publications, I decided to get my hands on 4 self-help books for teachers. Contrary to the fact that I'm such a bookworm no-no, I actually found these books interesting and down-to-earth. I'm currently spending my precious rest hours on - Teacher Talk! The art of effective communication. I found the notes easy to digest and it actually got me hooked on to the book. Well, as they say, there's always a first thing to everything. Guess, I'm just on my baby steps to cultivating the habit of reading.Hey, I deserve a pat on the back don't I?

I personally hate to be on MCs. Whenever I'm on one, I would feel really really guilty for it. However, this time round I did not have much of a choice cos' everytime I poject my voice...I'd just be coughing till tears welled up.Hmm, that's when my kids would stop talking and pay attention. So after one and a hald months contemplating on taking one,I finally plucked up my courage to go to the docs to find out what's wrong with my throat.Sometimes it gets so bad that I couldn't sleep the whole night, just coughing the night away. My GP told me to take the weekend off and rest well. So here I am, trying to catch up with as much work as I can.Guess I'll just be a couch potato for today.

I miss my dearie! He's been working since like God knows when and for this year, he couldn't even get any off days for Raya. Sighs.Anyway, tried my best to put up the video that Sugar did for me but still can't seem to figure it out.And, don't get me wrong...the new video is so inapplicable to me.Just that I lurve the tune of it.Furthermore, read in sanrio's site that they're tied up with that pink kitty too.I'm so in lurve with pink!Ok...I'm tired from all the visiting today.I've gotta hit the cribs. Assalamualaikum. Since I've not been here for the past 4 months, thought I'll just start it off with a greeting. Well, today's my 27th birthday and also...Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Wow, double joy rite? However, the highlight of this entry would definitely be the surprises I got from Sugar. First...he delivered the 1st birthday surprise to my home on Wednesday. When I got back, I found a huge Zara paperbag on my bed.In a split second, I unwrapped the package and found a BEAUTIFUL patented Zara bag...perfect for my Raya outings.Thought that the surprise ended there rite...read on. And just before the clock struck 12 today, he sent me an sms telling me to check my mail.There it was...a SUPER SWEET music video featuring our photos and the theme song for HSM2 was used as the background. Me, being such an emo lass...was totally touched by his 2nd surprise, especially when I know that Sugar does not know how to use the moviemaker. He really put in a lot of effort coming up with the video and I'm deeply touched by it.Thank you baby and love u lots! Anyway, back to Raya, really looking forward to meeting all my relatives for both side. I've even ordered a Ballerina Barbie birthday cake for myself so that I could use it for the cake-cutting ceremony at Uncle Nin's place. Oh no, I'm feeling sick already cos' I've been cleaning up the house since isyak just now. Really hope that I'll be well soon. Anyway...I've uploaded that 'birthday video' up here in my blog.So what do u think of it? hehe

Jajan's wedding was yesterday, 17th of June 2007 and her solemnization was the day before. Nice event overall though we were all tired by 6pm yesterday. Anyway, here are the pics, so enjoy!

Gutte morgan peeps! Well, at least its like a quarter to 1am now. I had some kind of a movie marathon for the past few days. Starting with Shrek 3, I managed to endure through these horror movies - Pocong 2, Zombi Kg Pisang (it's hilarious though) and Puaka Tebing Biru (PTB). You peeps should go check out PTB you know. It's the first time I saw a malay movie with lots of nenen nenen scenes (you know, those raunchy couple scenes). I least expect the 2 leads in the movie - Fahrin Ahmad and Umie Aida to actually agree to act out such scenes. It's even more gruesome than the hantu in the movie itself!I've got the movies - Chermin (Mirror) and Spidey 3 to cover tomorrow. Guess...movie surfing will be the highlight of my June hols this time. Chiaoz!
